Village Glen makes aged care affordable for everyone.
There are a number of costs associated with aged care homes. The amount you are required to pay and whether the Government will subsidise your care is determined by an assessment of your finances called the ‘Income and Asset Assessment’.
FEES AND CHARGES DIAGRAM
The assessment determines if you are eligible to receive assistance with your accommodation costs and whether you need to pay a means-tested care fee. The below diagram illustrates the different fees and charges and the payment options for accommodation costs.
