    Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

    Village Glen is a provider of aged care, retirement living and home care on the Mornington Peninsula. As an organisation, we continue to ensure that the necessary protocols are followed to protect residents and staff during the global COVID-19 pandemic as per the current Department of Health directives. We continue to be agile in our response to keep our Village Glen family healthy.

    We ask that everyone in our Village Glen community support us in protecting residents and the staff that look after them.

    Aged Care Residences – Mornington & Capel Sound

    Village Glen has implemented visitor screening processes at our aged care residences as part of our response to COVID-19 and to protect everyone in our community. Residents who have chosen to the have the vaccine have done so through the federal vaccination program.

    We encourage all visitors to stay away if at all unwell.

    To visit one of the aged care residences, visitors must abide by the following;

    All visitors are encouraged to be fully vaccinated, including the booster dose, and be able to show evidence of their COVID-19 digital certificate to visit.

    Visitors are asked to make an appointment to visit via our online portal Zipline or call us on 03 5986 4422.

    Visitors must have a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT).

    Upon arrival and before testing, visitors need to:

    • Add 0409 571 561 to your Contacts and name it ‘COVID’
    • Send an SMS/message with your full name (i.e., Sally Smith / John Smith) to the COVID number


    • Complete the Rapid Antigen Test (RAT)
    • Wait the full 15 minutes
    • Take a photo of the result
    • Send the photo via SMS on your phone to the COVID number with your full name beneath the photo.

    Staff continue to practice strict infection prevention and control processes including the wearing of appropriate PPE and providing a negative RAT result prior to each shift.

    We continue to provide information and support services to all our residents and clients regarding the pandemic as required.

    Village Glen leadership team continue to monitor the situation and take a risk-based approach to decisions and actions that may need to be taken. We remain committed to keeping our residents, clients and staff informed and safe, whilst ensuring they live their best life possible.
