Our services for Flexicare
Flexicare is a provider of Government funded home care packages as well as private services. The pricing for home care is broken up into two areas:
- Care and Package Management fees
- Hourly rate charged for services
The ‘Care Management’ fee covers the case management required to support your package and the ‘Package Management’ fee covers the cost to administer the package. Below you can see the amount of funds you will have remaining once these fees have been taken out of your package. These remaining funds can then be spent on services and you will be charged an hourly rate for the services you receive. We have two hourly rate charges as listed below, one for personal services and one for medical services.
Care and Package Management fees
Flexicare offers Fully Supported Care for clients on a home care package.
‘Fully Supported Care’ allows you to have access to your Home Support Partner during business hours without any restrictions on number of contact hours allowed per fortnight. The Home Support Partner is an integral part of the home care process and supports clients to make sure they are getting the most out of the package and receiving the appropriate services.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Half hourly visits are available for package clients only (not available for private services)
- Half hourly visits are charged at 75% of hourly rates
- There is a kilometre charge for shopping/transport etc which will incur $1.20 per km.
- You will not be charged for staff to travel to a visit
- If a public holiday falls on a weekend there will be additional charges
- GST is applied for private services only
