Our speech pathologists are qualified to diagnose and manage communication disorders that may include difficulties in speaking and listening.

Dietitians: Eat Well Nutrition

The dietician team Village Glen works with help improve health and nutrition by devising nutritional strategies in order to treat or manage conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, overweight and obesity, cancer, gastrointestinal diseases, food allergies and intolerances. We become more prone to hearing problems as we age. Here at Village Glen, we address that through the Hearing Australia program. For eligible residents, government-funded services include hearing assessments and hearing aid fittings, home visit service for those unable to travel due to medical conditions, and repair and maintenance of hearing devices and supply of batteries, for a low annual fee. There is also follow-up for those requiring ongoing care and advice as well as rehabilitation programs to effectively manage hearing loss.

Dentists: Mobile Dental Clinics Australia

Here at Village Glen, we also protect our residents’ smiles, not only metaphorically by also literally. Our dentists provide a range of dental and oral health treatments to prevent tooth decay, gum disease, and tooth loss. Dentist services are provided regularly every 6 months on site, and further visits can be arranged as required.
